The idea behind Google's Project Glass is to have a wearable computing mainstream, in the shape of a glasses with integrated display with the glass and a hidden battery in the frame that powered the small computer. The transparant display may use a LCD or AMOLED.

| Mini computer that will provide the information needed |
By the information provided by The New York Times, this smart and super small computer is more like a stand alone device and it will run on the famous Android OS. Some features that might be include are smart sensor, 4G data connection, camera and GPS to provide the information about the surrounding. It will support voice command and can be operate the information by just tilting the head.
According to Google, Google Glass will support you, by giving the information needed, help you find your way using satelite navigation, telling you the schedule of the subway, taking photographs and sharing them. (via)
